Nine Pin Ciderworks Releases NEW Spring Seasonal

Five New York Fruits Shape the Beverage that’s Perfect to Celebrate Spring Merch Sale to Benefit New York Cider Association

Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York State’s first farm cidery, is proud to announce their new spring seasonal beverage, Punch. A vibrant and refreshing addition to the Cidery’s esteemed lineup of seasonal craft beverages, Punch embodies the essence of tradition with a modern twist, delivering a symphony of flavors from five New York fruits that tantalize the taste buds. The beverage is available beginning March 5th.

Punch is crafted from a delicious blend of: Apples from Samascott Orchards in Kinderhook, grapes from Walker’s Vineyard in Forestville, cranberries from Deer River Cranberries in Brasher Falls, and cherries and peaches from Bittner-Singer Orchards on Lake Ontario. Nine Pin added some passion fruit for a tropical, punch touch.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Punch to our loyal patrons and cider enthusiasts,” said Alejandro del Peral, co-founder and cidermaker. “With Punch, we created a beverage that not only pays homage to classic punch recipes but also brings something new and exciting to the table. The result is a drink that perfectly balances tradition with innovation, offering a truly unforgettable drinking experience: ‘Hit the spot, with Punch!’”

Punch cider is currently available in 12 oz. cans and on draught in Nine Pin’s Tasting Room in Albany, N.Y. with an ABV of 6.3 percent. Nine Pin’s mission is simple: supporting New York agriculture by producing quality craft ciders using 100% New York apples and fruit. This season, Nine Pin will be offering hoodies for sale in their Tasting Room featuring the New York Cider Association’s logo. Proceeds from those sales will benefit the Association, to further promote NY’s agriculture through their efforts.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Nine Pin, who just celebrated their (official) 10th Anniversary on February 28th, and the re-release of the first of ten fan favorites, Hunny Pear, as they hosted New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, and Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan. Stay tuned for the next re-release at the end of March!

Cider connoisseurs may enjoy Nine Pin’s ciders seven days a week in their Albany Tasting Room, located in the City’s Warehouse district, and from retailers across New York State, Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as at bars and restaurants who proudly carry Nine Pin products. Residents in other states may purchase Punch through Nine Pin’s online store.
