Ghosts, Murder, and Cider Pairings to Highlight the Event More Event Tickets NOW Available
Nine Pin Ciderworks, and Discover Albany’s Maeve McEneny Johnson will be hosting an evening of chilling stories and sinfully delicious ciders on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Nine Pin Ciderworks on Broadway in Albany.
But now, since the tickets for that event sold out within virtual minutes, another time slot has been added to expand the event. More tickets were released at noon Tuesday for an additional time on Friday 29th, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The new batch of tickets are available for purchase on the Eventbrite page. The price includes the beverage.
For nearly two decades, Maeve has unearthed the capital city’s sinister and scary past for her guided tours across downtown Albany. She will share tales of the macabre, including historic ghost stories and 19th century true crime.
Who is the ghostly figure who lingers past closing time at the historic Olde English Pub? What mysteries lie within the beautiful homes lining Ten Broeck Triangle? And who orchestrated the assassination plot of Albany’s 1905 Halloween Queen? Sip your cider or mocktail to soothe your nerves, as she shares these stories and more.
Talks will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., respectively. It is recommended to arrive early to check in and obtain beverages and order snacks. Mocktails are also available.
